Birrong Suri Alpacas specialise in breeding the rare and exotic suri - a member of the alpaca family whose exquisite fleece is used to produce some of the most luxurious yarns and fabric in the world. Their award winning herd of around 85 pure white suri thrive in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales.
When you join an exclusive one and a half hour farm tour, you will learn all about suris and have plenty of opportunity to see and handle the animals - usually including cria (baby alpacas). Come dressed for the outdoors (including strong enclosed shoes) to enjoy a guided tour of the farm. No smoking or dogs permitted.
